Build Silos

This menu item builds silos based on the current market. When finished, it assigns them to a silo in the Tag column and also colors them by that silo. These tag values are assigned color based on the Tools | Color Options menu item.

There are two options in the Tools | General Options menu item that control how silos are built.

·	Silo Count - this option determines the maximum number of silos that will be built. By default this is set at 9 because that is the number of silo colors that are initially defined in Tools | Color Options.

·	Silo Threshold - while building silos, 3DMarketVision decides what keywords to put in a silo based on the TR column value. If the keyword is this percentage similar to a building silo, it will become part of that silo. By default this value is 80%.

Silos are built according to the following procedure.

1.	Sort keywords by KMV/R or by Count (if KMV/R has not been filled in yet)

2.	Find the highest keyword that has not been assigned a silo yet and Select that keyword

3.	Calculate the theme relevance (TR) column for all keywords

4.	Select all keywords above the Threshold for TR column, UnSelect keywords below the Threshold

5.	Loop back to step 3 until no more keywords are Selected or UnSelected

6.	Set the Tag column for all keywords in this silo

7.	Loop back to step 2 to work on the next silo

Once this procedure is finished, the silos assigments will be displayed in the keywords Tag column and also color coded in the 3DView Area.
